STARY OSKOL IS TO BE CONSOLIDATED FOR THE TITLE OF THE RUSSIAN BELOW CAPITAL
On May 19, 2019, the Oskolsky Half Marathon charity track and field run will start in Stary Oskol, organized by the "Art, Science and Sport" Charity Foundation of Alisher Usmanov. The event will be held in the framework of the All-Russian half-marathon ZEBeg.RF and is designed to make the half-marathon traditional for the city and the entire Belgorod region.
The plans of the Oskolsky Half Marathon involve more than 1,500 runners, as well as renowned athletes from the Old Oskol and the region. Trails of 21, 10, 5 and 1 km were prepared for the runners, and distances of 300 and 500 meters were also developed for small participants. The high level of the event will provide electronic timekeeping. Runners expect memorable prizes and gifts - T-shirts, numbers, medals. For spectators, the organizers have prepared an entertainment program.

A distinctive feature of the Oskolsky Half Marathon is FREE PARTICIPATION for athletes, which was provided by the Art, Science and Sport charity foundation.
The half marathon starts from the central Victory Square (the city of Stary Oskol, Zhukov microdistrict, 38, near the Byl merchant post). Part of the route is laid through the streets of the city, which will allow viewers to join the festival of sports. Time of the first start: 9:00, the issuance of start packages will begin at 6:45. Registration of participants on the site www.vsenasport.rf.
The Oskol Half Marathon will allow the city to compete with 17 cities of Russia for the honorary title of the running capital of the country. The Russian Half-Marathon ZaBeg.RF starts synchronously in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnodar, Omsk, Yaroslavl, Sevastopol, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok. New participants will be: Tula, Perm and Stary Oskol. The synchronous start is one of the main features of the event, thanks to which the All-Russian Half Marathon applied to the Guinness Book of Records.
The city that won the half marathon will win the honorary title of the running capital of Russia. A year earlier, Kazan became her. The winner is selected based on three criteria:
- The average distance covered by all participants in the city,
- Ratios of ZaBega participants to the total population of the city,
- The average running speed of the participants of “ZaBega”.
The organizers of the All-Russian Half-Marathon in Stary Oskol are the "Art, Science and Sport" Charity Foundation, the Administration of Physical Culture and Sports of the Administration of the Starooskol urban district and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of the Center for the Development and Promotion of Physical Culture and Sports.

08:30 - 08:50 - mass warm-up, charging near the stage;
08:50 - 09:00 - construction of the participants of the children's race in the starting area;
09:00 - children's race at 300 m (girls and boys) 0-4 years;
09:05 - 300m children’s race (girls and boys) 5-7 years;
09:10 - 500m children’s race (girls and boys) 8-10 years old;
09:15 - 500m children’s race (girls and boys) 11-13 years.
09:20 - 09:30 - building participants in the race for persons with disabilities (PEDA) in the starting area;
09.30 - start of the 500 m distance for persons with disabilities in the starting area;
09:30 - 09:45 - building participants Competitions in the starting area at a distance of 21 km, 10 km;
09:45 - start of a distance of 21 km, 10 km;
09:45 - 09:55 - building participants Competitions in the starting area at a distance of 5 km;

11:45 - closing distance of 10 km;
12:45 - closing distance of 21 km;
13:30 - 14:00 - closing of the competition.
